ASUS India teases the arrival of the Zenfone AR with tweet
ASUS India published the arrival of Asus Zenfone AR in India, which is supposed to happen soon. Launched at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) early in this 2017, in Las Vegas, the new Taiwan-based device will come with 8 GB RAM and Google Tango support.
Via ASUS website, the device has 3,000 mAh (non-removable) battery. Works on Android 7.0 along with Asus ZenUI 3.0 and has a fingerprint sensor. This smartphone will come in a black color.
The new device comes packed with support for Google Tango technology, which produces 3D technology for enabling augmented reality experiences for users. This is the second phone which uses Google Tango and the first to have 8 GB of RAM inside the smartphone. Asus Zenfone AR is coming with a Super AMOLED and a 5.7-inch display with Gorilla Glass 4 for the protection, the display will also support a Bluelight Filter technology for human eyecare. Google Daydream technology, which also supports virtual reality, is included in Asus Zenfone AR. In order to promote augmented and virtual reality, this device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821.
This smartphone comes with a 23 MP rear camera with PixelMaster 3.0 (and an aperture of f/2.0) and TriCam System, a motion-tracking and depth-sensing camera allow augmented reality. Meantime, it has an 8 MP second camera along with a screen flash. TriCam System has internal storage limited to 64 GB and but has a microSD slot that supports up to 2 TB.
This device comes with a 5-magnet speaker, which is an inbuilt speaker on the top. Asus Zenfone AR also has a dual internal mic which comes along with an ASUS Noise Reduction Technology and supported VoLTE.
Asus Zenfone AR supports two SIM cards, but you will need to sacrifice the microSD card slot for that.
