The ZenFone series was first introduced to the public at CES 2014 but never made it to US shores. But Asus plans to market Zenfone 2 in the US and Canada will soon be realized. Asus has officially announced that Asus Zenfone 2 will be released in the US on May 18.
Asus has formally started sending out invites for a ZenFone 2 North American launch event which takes place in New York City on May 18th,” Android Authority reports. “Incredible comes to New York,” the invitation reads. It is signed by Asus CEO Jonney Shih.
The ZenFone 2 is more than just a mid-range device, it’s a high-end flagship-like offering at a mid-range price. However, Asus hasn’t yet clarified which models will be sold in North America, so for now we’ll give key specs on all of the models.
